Understanding Personal Finance

Understanding Personal Finance requires approximately 12 to 15 hours of your student's time.

Each weekly class is 1.5 hours and some weeks also contain additional assignments to be completed before or after class.

Each week of our class represents a unique theme:

Week 1: Relate (How we relate to money)
Week 2: Respond (Vocation and careers)
Week 3: Steward (Budgeting)
Week 4: Grow (Saving and Investing)
Week 5: Safety (Debt and Insurance)
Week 6: Freedom (Creating financial security)

The Table of Contents from our pdf workbook is available for review. 

Yes, a unique registration is required for each student. We do offer a multi-student discount of 20% for families though. If you are registering 2 or more students in your family, you may use the form below to submit your discount request.  If you are using pre-registration, we will automatically send you your discount codes prior to your actual registration.

The registration fee is $199 per student. 

One of our week's includes a vocation assessment which is billed separately through YouScience ($49)

Outside of your regular registration fee, the only other associated cost is for a YouScience Assessment.  This fee is currently $49.

Budgeting is taught using the You Need a Budget Method (YNAB) and a free YNAB account may be used during the time period of the class.

Everything else needed is included in the online course site.

This class is typically geared towards students 14-17 years old, although attendees slightly younger or older can benefit from the material.

Refunds are 100% available until the first day of class.
